Ashish Virk is a distinguished academician and legal scholar renowned for her expertise in Jurisprudence, Human Rights, and Constitutional Law. With over 20 years of teaching experience, she has contributed significantly to legal education at various institutions, including Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana. As a prolific researcher, Prof. Virk has authored two books, contributed chapters to course work, published 45 papers in international and national journals, six chapters in books, and five online publications law magazine bulletins. She has presented 55 papers at conferences including session chaired and paper presenting at Cambridge University, United Kingdom. She has also delivered 25 invited lectures, chaired and judged nine sessions and events, and participated in numerous radio talks on various legal topics. Her administrative roles include serving as a visiting faculty at Indian Institute of Management-Rohtak and as Principal at Panjab University Constituent College and Lifetime member of the Indian Law Institute (Deemed University), New Delhi.
Aman Amrit Cheema is ****a distinguished luminary in the field of law, having over 22 years of experience as an educator and scholar. Recognized for her specialization in Narcotic Laws and the Juvenile Justice System, Dr. Cheema's academic journey is marked by significant milestones. With a Ph.D. from the University of Jammu, her research on the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act has garnered acclaim for its socio-legal insights. As Director and Professor of Laws at Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana, she demonstrates exemplary leadership. Prof. Cheema's contributions transcend academia, including her honorary professorship at the International Institute of Crime and Security Sciences, Bengaluru. She has to her credit two books, more than 44 research publications and has actively participated in 44 international and national conferences including paper presented and Session Chaired at International Conference on Law, Economics and Politics, Oxford University, Oxford, United Kingdom (UK). She is a Life time member of the Indian Law Institute (Deemed University), New Delhi.
Pooja Sikka is an Assistant Professor in Economics at the University Institute of Laws, Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Punjabi University, Patiala, with a fellowship from the University Grants Commission. With 18 years of teaching experience, her research interests include Economic Growth, Development, Poverty, Income Inequality, and Public Policy. She has authored two books, including one published by Routledge, and has 24 publications in esteemed journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings.
